Overall, this is a desirable copy of the remarkable story of a man who survived 47 days on a raft in the open sea, two and a half years in a Japanese prison camp and an Olympic runner. Zmaperini's story if also told in the upcoming film Unbroken, written by the Coen brothers and directed by Angelina Jolie.
