Hardcover. Condición: Good-. First US Edition. See photos for condition details: hardcover, brown beveled cloth boards with gilt text to spine. The exterior shows spotting and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The top of spine has splits present on both sides and both top and bottom edges are frayed. The interior binding is good and text pages are secure, although there is some pulling at spots with some areas exposing the webbing. The pages are yellowed due to age and there are scattered smudge marks present. The front end page contains the original owner's signature along with an 1875 date. The rear end page has a diagonal crease which appears to have always been there. Some of the advertisement pages and the rear have dark and corners and some of the pages have small tears that measure 1/2 inch or less. Page 372/373 contains a few pencil marks and underlining, which can likely be erased, if desired. The title page states First American Edition, Revised and Enlarged.…
