These particular volumes span modern English history, from 1558-1945. Watson is a 1985 reprint. Black, Clark, Davies, Williams and Woodward are 1985 reprints of the second edition. This included a debate on what constituted 'English History', whether to involve other nations in the United Kingdom or not. In the publisher's original cloth, in the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, excellent condition. Dust wrappers are generally bright and clean with the occasional mark.
