Boughton immigrated to America from England in 1835. An accomplished artist, Boughton's art is still sold in the better auction houses. He also illustrated The Scarlett Letter. The prints in the book for sale are wood etchings full of detail. A magnifying glass is handy to view them. The book is 11x8 with the thin paper etchings attached to the page.
