Holloman's impressive collection of twentieth century American first edition literature included many books signed at events held at the University of Mississippi in Oxford but, as an online search did not reveal any Gardner-attended Ole Miss lectures/symposia, the author's signature may have been obtained in nearby Memphis or New Orleans where Gardner events occurred in 1980.
