Notable in this issue are three stories by T. F. Powys : "The Kingfisher", "The Wine-Fed Tree", and "The Red Petticoat", being the first American appearance for each of these stories. These stories are illustrated by Arvis Stewart, who also created the cover art. Stewart is generally known as the illustrator for a good many children's books.
