Johns, George E. Rochester and William Hansboro. Published in 1938, only two years before the Battle of Britain. In the publisher's original pictorial paper boards with a red cloth spine. A frontispiece of The Gloster 'Gauntlet' fighter plane by Stanley Orton Bradshaw, as well as three other colour illustrations, four monochrome illustrations, and numerous woodcut illustrations by both Bradshaw and Leigh.
