Good. Original green cloth binding with gold gilt lettering on the boards. Long and bottom page edges uncut. Scratches and stains to the front and rear boards, bumps to the corners and slight fraying of the cloth at the head of the spine. Inside, pages are largely clean with a small amount of foxing present at the front and end of the textblock. Page borders are discoloured with age. The textblock is tight and square. There are two signatures from previous owners, one in pencil on the front free endpage, the other in pen on the top right hand corner of the title page. Included with this book are some interesting ephemera: a notecard from a previous bookseller, and a printed notice from The Hogarth Press, notifying purchasers of this book that they are taking over publication duties from The International Psycho-Analyticical Press.…
