Two sets of music, one for each piano, laid loose inside the illustrated covers. Piano II precedes Piano I; both are numbered pages 3-7. Arranger Elizabeth Gest (1883-1954) specialized in transcriptions and teaching pieces for multiple pianos. Most of her "Two Pianos, Four-Hands" series were published by the Theodore Presser Co. or its affiliates during the 1930s and 40s. This publication predates those and is a scarce copy. Morris dancing is a traditional English folk dance set to historic, rhythmic tunes from historic folk traditions, music hall eras, and specific regional styles like Cotswold, Border, or North West.
