It provides a nostalgic, highly detailed look at global railway engineering, historic steam locomotives, and the daily operations of early 20th-century rail networks. Tenth edition and thought to be first printing. In good pictorial paper covered boards with colour image of front of train engine to front with gold borders and red and black titles and green cloth spine with black titles and outline of train. The boards are loose with collapsed hollow, flat, a little marked and with bumped corners and spine ends.
