This work muses on poverty and the class system in England, and illustrated Chichester's charitable disposition and dedication to social reform, for which he was well known. In half calf bindings. He is enclosing £25, 'yr verry [sic] moderate account & with many many thanks for all yr frieship [sic] & sincere regards'. In a postscript he refers to the recipient's son, 'established at Brighton'. Also 'Spencer comes here frequently - & Donegall also he got the [?] of [?] yesterday -'.
