Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Near Fine. Don Sibley Ilustrador. 1st Edition. This offering is a vintage copy of Fiddler's Fancy written by Julia Montgomery Street and illustrated by Don Sibley. The book was published by Follett Publishing Company in 1955 and appears to be a First Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. The price on the dust jacket flap is $2.50. The book is NOT an ex-library copy - and both the book and the dust jacket are in NEAR FINE condition. It appears to me that the book has never been read and has spent most of its "life" on a shelf sitting with spine facing out. (I say this because either there was never the title of the book and author's name written on the spine . . . or it has been light-faded away. No title nor author name is there now.) The book is 6 1/4" by 8 5/8" and has 157 pages with nicely done black-and-white illustrations throughout the book. "In this heart-warming story the author has captured the picturesque idiom of mountain people - and her writing is rich in details gained from a first-hand acquaintance with the region." Even though the book is nearly70 years old both book and dust jacket are in such great condition that the book could be given as a gift . . . even if it's to yourself . . . or a mountain-lore-of-North Carolina fanatic. Thank you!
