M. MacLeod Fullarton gives the work to one Mr. Macpherson, at the request of his late brother, the late Ralph MacLeaod Fullarton.To the recto of the half title is a handwritten notice explaining that ownership of the volume passed from Rev. J. R. Maynard to Ralph MacLeod Fullarton, who prior to his death asked that his brother pass it on to Mr Macpherson.
