The brigade was part of General James Longstreet's corps during the Atlanta Campaign. In September 1864, the brigade was involved in the Battle of Jonesboro. In February 1865, the brigade was involved in the Battle of Bentonville. John S. Jackman was wounded at the Battle of Franklin and died on October 1, 1865, at the age of 19.; 8vo; 174 pages; TBC.

Jordan (it is illustrated with some very old black-and-white illustrations/photographs) and was first published as "Volume III of History of Bucks County Pennsylvania, second edition, New York and Chicago, 1905." THIS copy (a big book) has been "Reprinted Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. Baltimore, 1975. The book ISan ex-library copy and is in very good + condition . . . with some library markings. It looks as if it's never been read. The book is 6 1/4" by 9 1/4" by 2 1/4" and has732 pages with an Index of 19 pages in the front of the book and the fore-mentioned illustrations/photographs.
