Condición: Very Good. Softcover without dust jacket. Pages clean and bright. Gift dedication signed by author. Euclid Ohio in the 1950's could have served as the prototype of the typical Midwestern, industrial, post-war suburb. The author tells his own story of growing up and coming of age in the Cleveland suburb of Euclid. It is also a story of a city that is growing, thriving, and changing--a city that reflects a nation in transition in education, civil rights, communication, transportation and its standing in the world. Even if not from Euclid, Ohio you'll have a great time reading this book of gentle, often humorous memories of a great working man's town in the 1950's, a town that fulfilled the post-war WWII promise of a chance at the American Dream.
