Numerous illustrations in the text. A very scarce work. Undated but probably 1890's. The binding, which has a gilt lop-eared rabbit on the front board…and gilt titles to spine is in very good clean condition. There are a couple of small patches of cloth wear on the spine joints, a small lighter area on the back board and light wear to corners. The original endpapers are present - there is a signature 'Florence 16.9.10' to the fep. Contents very clean with light foxing in places (endpapers and margins). With 16 page publisher's catalogue at the rear. A very nice copy.
