Sowohl um Training optimal im Sinne der Leistungssteigerung planen als auch um gefährliche Ãberbelastungen vermeiden zu kà nnen, ist ein Monitoring des Zusammenhangs zwischen Trainingsbeanspruchung und Erholungszustand von hà chstem Interesse. Die Publikation widmet sich diesem Spannungsfeld. Schwimmerinnen von nationalem Spitzenniveau wurden über einen längeren Zeitraum begleitet und die täglichen Trainingsbelastungen und -beanspruchung sowie die daraus resultierenden Veränderungen des Erholungs-Beanspruchungszustandes dokumentiert und ausgewertet. Neben den objektiven Trainingsparametern wurde von den Athletinnen jede Trainingseinheit mittels Session-RPE bewertet, um die subjektive Beanspruchung zu erfassen. Die Messung des Erholungs-Beanspruchungszustandes erfolgte durch das tägliche Ausfüllen des AkutmaÃes Erholung und Beanspruchung (AEB), das die Erholung dem aktuellen Stand der Forschung entsprechend multidimensional erfasst, so dass neben der kà rperlichen auch emotionale und psychische Erholung bzw. Beanspruchung berücksichtigt wird. Die Ergebnisse, die diese umfangreiche Studie bietet, sind einzigartig: Die Reaktionen des Erholungs-Beanspruchungszustandes auf die Trainingsbelastungen zeigen sich als hà chst individuell. Sowohl die Art der Reaktion als auch deren zeitliche Verzà gerung variieren zwischen den Schwimmerinnen, als auch bei derselben Schwimmerin zu unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten, teilweise enorm: Während einige Sportlerinnen wie erwartet mit einem sinkenden Erholungszustand auf intensives Training reagierten, fühlten sich andere durch hà here Beanspruchungen im Training erholter und ausgeglichener. Diese Reaktionen erfolgten teilweise unmittelbar nach dem Training und bei anderen Athletinnen erst um einige Tage verzà gert. Somit unterstreicht die Arbeit den Bedarf an und die Forderung nach einer individuellen Betreuung mit einer entsprechenden Erfassung von Trainings- und Erholungsdaten von Leistungssportlerinnen und -sportlern.
