Travelling extensively through the Middle East, Russia and the Far East, Thubron has written prolifically about his experiences, including the 1987 Behind the Wall: A Journey Through China, winner of the Hawthornden Prize and the Thomas Cook Travel Book Award. In publisher's original cloth bindings, each accompanied by the original dust wrapper, which, excluding In Siberia, are all unclipped. Externally, excellent condition with slight shelf wear only.
