One Page. Condición: Very Good Plus. First Printing. "The Will of Charles Lounsberry, an inmate of the Chicago poorhouse(so the story goes), was found in the pocket of a ragged coat which he wore. The will is said to have been read before the Chicago Bar Association and, later, to have been probated. The unusual document has been set in Goudy Kaatskill type by Howard Coggeshall and a few copies printed for friends, May, nineteen hundred and thirty-six." A 1" tear in left margin, and several small tears, chips and creases to top and right edges, almost(but not quite!) as if this copy, too, had been found in the pocket of a ragged coat. A SCARCE Coggeshall item.

One Page. Condición: Near Fine. First Printing. "Set in Kennerly Type for Frank Gregson, by Howard Coggeshall, his friend, and one copy printed at Utica, New York, in July 1933." An 11 line poem. An early Coggeshall item, and being the only copy printed, quite a rarity. Very faint age-toning at edge of paper, Else Fine.

This limited edition reprint of 407 copies was "printed by Howard Coggeshall at his Press in Utica, New York, on Kaatskill type designed in 1929 by Frederic W. Goudy". In addition to operating his private press, Coggeshall worked with Frederic Goudy at the Village Press.Rare.
