Hardbound in textured red cloth lettered black, cloth is s…mudged with a partial light cup-ring, top edge dust-soiled, a sound copy clean and unmarked within. FYI, the selling point of Mr Ripley's novel is hardly the storyline (hangovers, racism) but the four plates. One is simulated shot of horseback revolutionaries, and the other three of Victor McLaglen being a towering ladies' man (whatta grin!) and a singleton of a young Humphrey Bogart being obsequious.
