Condition, original decorative Red Hardback with black & gilt embossed binding in good condition, minor ageing, corner knocks, Contents mostly Very good, clean and tight, a couple of corner folds…, one plate with part fold, apart from the plates there are many illustrations in text and other full page illustrated pages. To first endpage is a small gift inscription dated 1898. Very much in the William Morris style of arts & crafts of the period, including the hand made nature, rough cut pages and not exactly the same size, with some good decorative decoration & full page decorative parts within the numbered pages.
