After serving in the Virginia State Militia during the American Revolution, Norvell Robertson migrated to Georgia and arrived in Mississippi circa 1818 initially residing near Pineville but later moving north of Old Williamsburg. Robertson children and further descendants resided in the Mississippi counties of Covington, Lawrence, Smith, Carroll, Clarke, and elsewhere.…
