First edition of this anthology of big game stories of the Indian jungle set on the North Eastern frontier near Bhutan. Casserly (1869-1947) joined the 22nd Bombay Infantry in 1892, served in China during the Boxer Rebellion, and later with the 120th Rajputana Infantry with about 200 sepoys in a small fort in Cooch Behar.
