Book Details & Condition This softcover original is in pristine condition. The covers are bright, clean, and glossy with no creasing, fading, or edge wear. The spine is tight and uncracked. All 32 pages are crisp, unmarked, and free of any writing, coloring, inscriptions, or ownership marks. Includes the iconic full-color illustrations that capture the magic of the animated film. Activity Section: Eight pages of engaging puzzles, games, and challenges tied to the story — perfect for young readers. Author Background Carlo Collodi (pen name of Carlo Lorenzini, 1826-1890) was an Italian author, journalist, and satirist best known for The Adventures of Pinocchio (Le avventure di Pinocchio), first published in 1883. His moral tale of a wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy has become one of the most beloved children's stories worldwide and the basis for countless adaptations, including Walt Disney's landmark 1940 animated classic. Illustrations The artwork in this Ladybird edition is vibrant, full-color, and directly inspired by Disney's official animation style. While uncredited (common for many mass-market Ladybird Disney tie-ins of the period), the illustrations are highly detailed and faithful to the film's iconic character designs and scenes. Rarity & Collectibility Part of Ladybird's short-lived "Story Activity Books" series (other titles included The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and Bambi). These combined story + activity formats from the early 1990s are increasingly sought after by Ladybird collectors, Disney enthusiasts, and parents looking for high-quality vintage children's books. Perfect for: Collectors of Ladybird Books, Disney memorabilia, vintage 1990s children's literature, or as a special gift for a new generation. A lovely piece of children's publishing history in outstanding condition.…
