Di queste, assai curiose, la prima è indirizzata a confutare l'ipotesi ereticale (fatta propria da Isac La Peyrere) secondo la quale si dà la possibilità che fossere esistiti uomini nati prima di Adamo, i preadamiti; la seconda verte intorno alle virtù dell'albero della vita e allo stato o meno di innocenza dell'uomo avanti il peccato originale; la terza ipotizza che gli uomini antidiluviani fossero vegetariani; la quarta e ultima tratta delle dimensioni del diluvio, confutando alcune ipotesi per le quali fosse limitato soltanto alla Giudea. La seconda opera, non comune, è del reggiano Paolo Cardi, Generale dei Serviti, e verte intorno alla biografia di San Prospero.
