Frontispiece portrait of Joseph Smith. Good condition. The extremities are rubbed and a little faded, and there is a small numerical label on the spine. The frontis…piece is slightly offset on the title page. The endsheets have areas of darkening and discoloration, and the pages are age-toned. There are numerous stains on the preliminary pages. The largest stain is on the bottom fore edge corner of the frontispiece page, measuring roughly 1" wide by 1" deep. Pp. 88-89 are heavily stained, but the text is legible.
