Jacket has a strip about 1" widw missing from top edge along most of the back around the spine and tapering off at the front. Also a very small piece missing over the spine ( the OR in Boys ) and a small piece missing at bottom of spine, and a small piece missing at bottom corner. (see photos). Written by Manning Coles, the pseudonym of two British writers, Adelaide Frances Oke Manning and Cyril Henry Coles, who wrote many spy thrillers from the 1940s through the early 1960s. Illustrated by Henry Matthew Brock, a British illustrator and landscape painter. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor bumping and light fading to the extremities.
