"Originaire de Toul, Jean Raulin (né vers 1443 - mort en 1515) étudia la théologie au Collège de Navarre à Paris et obtint en 1479 le doctorat. Il devint le Grand Maître du Collège en 1481. On le considérait comme un des principaux chefs de l'école nominaliste, mais aussi comme un prédicateur populaire ardent à montrer la nécessité de la réforme des m?urs et de l'Église.
