Braham who produced a number of books for the same publisher in a similar format around this date.The story (in rhyme) seems to be based on the original Peter Rabbit with some elements of Jemima Puddleduck thrown in. Very small book (3"x4"),46pp, decorated endpapers, colour frontis and one other colour plate. Front hinge cracked at first page of text and binding shaky. One page of text missing (15/16). Lower cover marked and lacking a piece of surface paper 65 x 10 mm (2½" x ½" - see image), tiny slight stain to upper corner of upper cover, light vertical crease at fore-edge margin to a couple of pages, contents clean. Attractive coloured frontispiece: a fairy addresses 3 small children, line vignette on title.
