Slight scuffing at lightly bumped spine ends and at board corner tips. Gilt top edge; deckle fore-edge and bottom edge. Light toning to endpapers; occasional light foxing/toning to interior pages strongest to pages adjacent to plates. Binding is firm. Still a handsome book.

Binding signed "MA" for Margaret Armstrong. Very minor wear to the extremities with almost no rubbing, cloth clean gilt bright, all illustrations present and in fine condition, else near fine. No jacket.
