Draft script for the 1970 production of "Early Morning" at La Mama E.T.C. in New York, with a flyer for the performance (as well as some review clippings) laid in. Copy belonging to actress Tresa Hughes, with her annotations throughout. "Early Morning" holds the distinction of being the last play to be banned by the English cens…ors under the rule of Lord Chamberlain. It was subsequently staged as a "private club" engagement (but at the Royal Court Theatre in London) for only one performance before being shut down under the threat of police action. This working script represents the first American staging of the play at La Mama E.T.C. off-off-Broadway. Green studio wrappers, with credits for playwright Bond. Title page present, with credits for playwright Bond. 133 leaves, mimeograph duplication. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus bound with two gold screw brads.

Draft script for the 1973 play which premiered at the Bjijou Theater in New York. Not listed in the Internet Broadway Database, but an early performance was reviewed by Clive Barnes for the New York Times on March 27, 1973. Playwright N. Richard Nash is best known for "The Rainmaker" (1954), adapted to the screen by Nash in 1956… and starring Burt Lancaster and Katharine Hepburn. In "Echoes," Tilda (Lynn Milgrim) and Sam (David Selby) debate reality, happiness, and their sanity while in what appears to be an asylum. They are both under constant surveillance of the psychiatrist, named "The Person" (Paul Tripp). Yellow Studio Duplicating Service titled wrappers, with credits for playwright N. Richard Nash.
