Limited ed. unpaginated,Slim 8vo,Limited edition - cloth scuffed & mod. soiled; else vg condition,Born in France in 1884, Madame Taylor married a Canadian and arrived in Winnipeg in 1904, where she spent the remainder of her life (she died in 1964). She was a noted sculptress, creating the 'La Canada War Memorial' (no…w in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan) and the 'Next-of-Kin Soldier' now on the grounds of the Legislative Building in Winnipeg. Photographs of her more important pieces are set out in this little book, obviously written and published by an admirer. This is copy number 157 of 250 copies 'printed in September, 1966.' Remains of bookplate(?) glue on ffep. black-and-white photographs (ilustrador).
