Brown colored cloth over boards with darker brown text on upper and spine; edge wear; paint splotch on spine. This is a textbook to be used for two years worth of lessons. There are two recipes handwritten on the front paste down and ffep. The ffep has a 1 1/4" tear and a stain which went through to the title page. A few interior pages have food stains but no underlining or highlighting. The lesson on cakes has the most damage with splotches and torn parts of the page as well as a loose page. Upper hinge is started but binding is tight.
