Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is a comprehensive and authoritative exploration of Bradley's original observations on Aberration and Nutation. After being lost for almost a century, these papers were rediscovered and the author presents a complete investigation of the culmination of Bradley's astronomical observations. Combining these observations with others undertaken at an earlier period by Molyneux, the author discusses the theoretical basis for understanding the observations and the techniques employed in making them. The result is an in-depth analysis of these key astronomical principles and their observation, revealing the depth and precision of Bradley's work which laid the foundations for our understanding of the celestial sphere. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…

1 S. Gr.-8vo.
