This book presents an historical and bibliographic guide to the publications of the Chautauqua movement, an adult education movement in the US founded in the late 19th century. The author provides a historical sketch of Chautauqua, an overview of the vast array of publications produced by the movement over 60 years, and a descriptive bibliography of the three main series of Chautauqua books: the Chautauqua Text Books, the Home College Series, and the C.L.S.C.
