Small, darkened section on spine from a previous label's placement. Library call number label adhered to spine. Two corners of title plate on spine are chipped. Light wear to tail of spine. Mild wear along front and back edges of spine. One inch, closed tear on front edge of spine, starting at tail. Fore-edge corners are worn. Top, bottom, and fore-edges have light wear. Two strips of leather are lifted on front board. Several scuffs and a few, brown stains are on the back board. One and a half inch, closed tear on back edge of spine, in vicinity of title plate. Front and back hinges are cracked at paste down page, but still attached. Library label adhered to front paste down page. Mild creasing to top, fore-edge corners of pages. Previous owner's markings present on front end-papers, title, and dedication pages. Title page is blind stamped. Front end papers have a tiny gap in material, comparable to the shape of the letter "y." Foxing present throughout. Otherwise in very good condition.
