Two stained and soiled blank front flyleaves present with original pencil ownership inscription; shallow loss at edges of first fly with substantial paper loss to second fly. Title page with large loss at top right corner, smaller loss to second leaf of text which is list of fraternity chapters; other succeeding leaves through page 30 have creased corners. Last two leaves (pages 193-195) have large loss at top corners. Text divided into two parts, the first (pages 5-132) of which features chronologically-organized class lists of members for each of the then current chapters at Hamilton College, Miami University, New York University [NYU], Columbia College [Columbia University], Amherst College, Brown University, Harvard University, Yale College, Hobart College, Bowdoin College, Western Reserve College [Case Western Reserve University], Michigan University [University of Michigan at Ann Arbor], Dartmouth College, Rochester University, Alabama University [University of Alabama], Williams College, New York Free Academy [College of the City of New York], Wesleyan University, Kenyon College, Union College, and Cumberland University.
