Illustrated with photos. This is a 1st edition hardback with its dustjacket in good condition-the dustjacket edges are a scuffed & a little chipped in corners & the 'D.J' is a little rubbed. The book itself is in fine condition. (114 pages & 11 pages of illustrations).

Written by Ramsey when he was a member of the Tottenham Hotspur side that won the old First Division in 1951. Ramsey, of course, went on to manage England to their greatest-ever triumph at the World Cup in 1966. Signed by Sir Alf Ramsey in blue fountain pen ink on the front free end-paper: "Best Wishes/ Alf Ramsey". Ramsey's signature is quite elusive. Signed by Author.

First edition, first printing. Published by Stanley Paul in London, 1952. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper has typical wear to the edges, and a small tear on the rear panel. It has not been price clipped, showing the original 7s 6d net price. The boards are slightly bumped along the edges and at the corners. There is a separation at the spine in the middle of the text, showing the hinges. The text blocks are foxed. The authors signature is signed in blue ink with 'best wishes' on the front fly. Overall, this is a very good copy of a fine signed title. The autobiography of England great Alf Ramsey where he discusses his playing days for Spurs and England. He would of course go on to reach sporting immortality by managing England to its world cup victory in 1966.
