This set comprises 3 of the 4 volumes that were issued in this set and consists of bound copies of each issue of the "Journal of Cherokee Studies" between 1976 and 1985. These were issued in a limited edition of 400 copies--all three of these volumes were issued as #344 of 400, and all three volumes bear the signature of Jonathan L. Taylor, Principle Chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians next to the limitation number. The front and rear covers of each issue of the journal are bound with the the text pages. Original red publisher's cloth covers with gilt spine lettering. This set is crisp, clean, tight, and unmarked, and appears to have been unread.
