Full-Leather. Condición: Good. Fourth Edition. Possibly the fourth edition from 1740 in two volumes I (288pp) and II (294pp). Contemporary full leather binding with five raised bands to the spines. The title panels on the spine are all lost. The spines have some chipping and a little cracking to the edges. The corners are bumped with some rubbing and there is some light surface wear to the front and rear panels. Name of a previous owner in ink to the front free endpaper of the first volume - Lady Wale of Shelford near Cambridge and there is the bookplate of another family member on the front pastedown of this volume and upside down on the rear pastedown of the second volume. Spots of a reddish substance to the endpapers of the second volume. There is spotting at the front and back of the books and light browning to the pages but the pages are otherwise generally unmarked. The map near the front of the first volume is intact with a little edge wear.
