Gilt stamped lettering to front cover; slight wear/scuffing at edges, spine ends, and along joints. Some toning and thumbing to leaves. Color map as front endpapers; foldout color St. Gothard Railway map between pages 72-73; foldout color map between pages 156-157; concluding "Notes" lined leaf (pages 157-158) unblemished by any ownership notations; b/w illustrations throughout; advertising section at rear. Stitched binding has a few stress points but still holding. Else a very good- copy.

Hard Cover. Condición: Fair. Hardcover without dust jacket, undated (but c1890-1910), unpaginated, but "containing forty-eight beautifully coloured pictures [with detailed captions] of the lakes of Killarney, Counties Kerry, Cork, and the South of Ireland"; covers worn and water damaged and almost completely detached from the text block, some staining evident along the margins of many picture pages, but all pictures except 3, and the equally charming advertisements, are very bright and clear; good reading/research copy, or for framing, but not gift quality.

Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Photos; illus, 12 x 9", gilt-lettered pebbled blue cloth with inset photo of color guard on front cover, unpaginated, covers rubbed, extremities bumped and worn, outer front hinge torn and top and bottom, contents good. On one page is a photo of TOM SCHLIENTZ, long-time manager of John King Books, at the ripe age of 20 years old. Also included is an unused, collectible Tom Schlientz "Mooseiana" bookplate designed by the late cartoonist Draper Hill.

Soft cover. Condición: Very Good. (Orillia, ON): Orillia Board of Trade, no date (ca. 1930s). Staple-bound booklet, size is 5 1/4" x 7 3/4". Condition for the booklet is very good+ with slight edge wear, slight wear to corners and some wear to the spine ends. 24 pages with photos. ---- "An undated tourist booklet, most likely from the 1930s, for Orillia, Ontario, Canada. With a photo of Stephen Leacock enjoying his yawl, and a night scene of "The best lighted Main Street on the Continent".

Promotional for the camp. Eight panel brochure folded to 12mo (15 cm). Title panel, five panels describing fishing (trout salmon, bass, pickerel), location (on Great Lake, one mile from the town of Belgrade Lakes), accommodations, table, and recreation, one panel of references, and one panel giving directions by train and automobile form New York or Boston and rates. "Strictly Gentile camp." Apparently not recorded on OCLC. Original illustrated wrapper. Very good.

Promotional. Small 4to. (11) pp. Illus. from photographs, map. Promotional for the hotel and its facilities on Belgrade Lakes, primarily advertising the excellent fishing for Brook Trout, Landlocked Salmon, and Smallmouth Bass. Apparently not recorded on OCLC. Vertical crease, as if folded for mailing, else very good. Illustrated cream wrappers (a little soiled), stapled. (#4266).

Photographic views capture notable landmarks and locales including the Manitoba Legislative Building, Riding Mountain National Park, Grand Beach, early group image of the Flying Club of Stevenson Field, and the Basilica of St. Boniface (prior to its destruction by fire). Additional images depicting provincial highway types and conditions, Main Street scenes in Brandon and Birtle, alongside diverse hunting, fishing, and resort activities, and much else. A delightful interwar promotional booklet, profusely illustrated, as issued by the Tourist and Convention Bureau of Winnipeg and Manitoba in an effort to attract tourists to the "Keystone Province". Includes a rich variety of of contemporary statistics (area, population, railways, wooded areas, fisheries, etc.), details for the potential motor tourists (elaborating on liquor laws, customs and immigration information, etc.), highlights the various small resort towns and amenities, etc. Faint crease to the centre of the front cover where it was once folded, contents without blemish: bright, clean, and unmarked; near fine. Contemporary full calf leather binding; some staining, surface abrasion/peeling to boards with slender wear at edges; spine head chipped with slender surface chipping along front joint; spine's black title label with slight loss at right edge but with gilt lettering still bright. Fading to text block's marbled edges. Marbled endpapers. Front pastedown has likely antebellum bookseller ticket "Frierson & Hawkins, | Booksellers, | Columbia, Tenn." and undated but 20th century personal bookplate of John Kimbrough Johnson as well as segregation-era institutional bookplate for Rodes' Memorial Library noting library's availability to any white person of Pulaski, Tennessee (no other institutional markings readily apparent upon a cursory perusal). Some foxing/toning to interior leaves. Double column text other than initial pages. Binding is firm.
