Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the nature of the heat emitted by the sun and its implications for life on Earth. The author examines various theories about the source of the sun's heat, ultimately concluding that it is the result of the sun's gradual contraction. This process, known as the Kelvin-Helmholtz mechanism, involves the conversion of gravitational energy into heat energy as the sun's volume decreases. The book discusses the implications of this theory for the sun's longevity and the future of life on Earth. It also explores the role of the sun's heat in shaping the Earth's climate and supporting the growth of plants and animals. Ultimately, the book highlights the vital importance of the sun's heat to life on Earth and emphasizes the need to understand and protect this precious resource. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
