The former owner's name in ink, is written on the front fly, and he has tipped-in three book quotes inside the rear cover, on books treating of the stereoscope in ophthalmology (and I believe the ski-optometer is one type of steroscope). Book condition: front and rear flys have darkened considerably (tan tone); cover corners and spine ends show minor rubbing.
