Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the extremities with marks to the boards. A very small split in the cloth to the front joint. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting to the first and last few pages, with the odd mark. A closed tear sympathetically repaired with tape to the front endpaper. Previous owner's bookplate to the front free endpaper. Good. book.

Tide mark to head of fore edge of front board, with significant tide marks to rear board. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with back strip age toned, and ink marks to back strip. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. Inscriptions to verso of a front blank, with bookplate to half title head. Internally, binding strained, with contents leaf detached and loosely inserted, and with three gatherings towards the rear working loose. Pages clean and bright. Good Only. book.
