Laid in is the official invitation from the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, a thick engraved card with a creased tissue guard, ass pictured. Near fine, crisp & bright. Size: 4¾" by 7".…

Trade Paperback. First Edition. Folder with embossed trademark of house on front cover, 10.5 x 15.25 inches, enclosing folded sheet creating 4 leaves detailing the business history of William E. Rudge's Sons, Inc., beginning in 1932, expanding in 1934, and now, in 1936, purchasing the Printing House of William Edwin Rudge. First edition (first printing). Very good in wrappers (paperback), sewn. Tanning to folder covers with edge and corner wear. WITH folded sheet, 10 x 13 inches, with hand-drawn cartoon on front by Raymond Lucero (?) of man with extended arms linking a smiling figure on right labelled 'print' with a crying figure on left with Rudge trademark insignia. Inside recto leaf is signed in pencil by 25 employees and by Fred Rudge, one of the founders of the firm. Unique item of printing history.…

Unbound. Condición: Fine. Menu. One folio sheet folded to make four pages. Measuring 7½" x 9¾" closed. Illustrated with a photogravure of Rudge and a Sans serif variation of the Rudge mark designed by Bruce Rogers (who, the menu notes, would be present that evening). Tiny pinpoint crease in the bottom margin else fine, with the unprinted envelope present (tanned with a bit of foxing and a couple of stray marks). The menu, printed on the final page, included prime rib and nesselrode pie.…
