The interior text bloc is clean, especially for a cookbook. Ink name/address to ffep otherwise unmarked. The binding is tight and square, hinges are uncracked. Blank endpaper at back, removed. Tough, cloth binding seems to have been laquered. This has reduced kitchen/handing soiling, however, the cloth does show moderate soiling. Scans available & recommended. This scarce title is selling for upwards of $200 on eBay in terrible condition. This book is impossible to find in very good condition because it appears that the publisher PAINTED these covers instead of staining the cloth. Over the years, paper, cloth, dirt, dust or even other books have stuck to these books forever marring the covers. Inside THIS book, the pages are mostly clean, with a few stains from use while cooking, and a few pages and back cover separating from the binding, but still attached.
