Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articlesavailable from Wikipedia or other free sources online. AdvancedPeer-to-Peer Networking (APPN) is an extension to the Systems NetworkArchitecture (SNA).APPN was meant to complement IBM's Systems NetworkArchitecture, a legacy from the mainframe era. It was designed as asimplification, but it turned out to be utterly complex, in particularin migration situations. APPN was originally meant to be a 'DECNETkiller', but DEC actually died before APPN was completed. Today, ofcourse, APPN has been completely superseded by TCP/IP (Internet). Notethat APPN has nothing to do with controversial peer-to-peer file sharingsoftware such as KaZaa or Napster. The designation peer-to-peer in thecase of APPN refers to its independence from a central point of controlunthinkable in today's networks but common in the mainframe era.…

Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles!
