Insbesondere für Anbieter klassischer Print- und Rundfunkmedien bieten die digitalen Technologien die Möglichkeit, die Vorteile der Printmedien mit den Vorzügen der multimedialen Möglichkeiten, die das Internet bietet, zu kombinieren. Die ergonomische Gestaltung ist dabei enorm wichtig, da die Nutzung bzw. Orientierung auf der Website primär über Menüs oder Dialogfenster und grafische Interface-Elemente erfolgt.Doch jeder, der im Internet unterwegs ist, kennt das Problem: Oft ärgert man sich über unverständliche Menüs, versteckte Basisinformationen und komplizierte Bestellvorgänge. Websites müssen daher auf jeden Fall benutzerfreundlich gestaltet werden, denn gute User-Interface-Designs sind unabdingbar, um die Applikationen optimal nutzen zu können. Die übergeordneten Fragen der vorliegenden Seminararbeit lauten:1. Wie muss ein erfolgreiches, effizientes Interface-Design für interaktive Systeme aussehen 2. Inwieweit kann eine Website Interaktionsmöglichkeiten bieten Nach der Erläuterung der zentralen Begriffe, werde ich die Grundprinzipien des Interface-Designs sowie die typischen Elemente vorstellen. Abschließend soll anhand eines Fallbeispiels die Online-Präsenz des Nachrichtenmagazins 'Der Spiegel' hinsichtlich der 'Usability' sowie der Möglichkeiten der 'Mensch-Computer-Interaktion' untersucht und bewertet werden.
