Hardcover. Condición: Poor. The cover has brown cloth. The title on the front board is North Carolina, a Guide to Capitalists and Emigrants. The title page also states, "Letters of Prominent Citizens of the State in Relation to the Soil, Climate, Productions, Minerals &c., and an Account of the Swamp Lands of the State." One cor…ner of the original map is tipped in. A map, that is copied from another book, is laid-in. The words on the copied map are not very legible. The spine strip has a 1/8 in. hole, and the top and bottom edges are frayed. The boards' bottom, front edges are frayed. About a third of the back board is discolored by water stain. A tear in the front, blank page is tipped back together with glue. One page corner has a large chip, but the text is not affected. Most of the pages have water stain on one or more margins. The water stain is on text of nearly 2 dz. of those pages. About a fifth of the pages have a stain(s) 1/8 in. to 1 1/4 in. Scans e-mailed upon request. Standard shipping cost in the U.S. will be reduced.
