A Good+ 12mo hardcover in a fair to good dust jacket. Briefly inscribed on the ffep as follows: 'To / Eleanor / From / Guy / New York, N.Y. / July 21, 1921. The 'Guy' signature on the ffep matches the 'Guy' portion of the signature of author 'Arthur Guy Emprey' as it appears in the facsimile letter on the pre-Contents page. Remaining contents, 369 pp., + ads, 64 illus., with a tissue guard to the frontispiece illus., appear to be clean and securely bound albeit slightly age tanned. The red cloth boards with stamped gilt titling are bumped and rubbed in the corners and in the spine head and tail edges, and there is a small scuff on the upper board. There is also a slight bit of cocking to the spine. The dj, which has ads on the underside, shows some wear and aging. It is chipped along the top and bottom edges and flap edges.
